German luxury car company Audi has launched its new Audi RS 5 in the UK market. This car was first introduced in the year 2010 and now on completion of 16 years, the company has brought its new and more advanced model. The new Audi RS 5 has been introduced in both sedan and wagon body styles. This car is considered to be a great combination of great speed, luxury and new technology.

Reaches speed of 100 in 3.6 seconds

The new Audi RS 5 has a 2.9 liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. This engine alone gives power of 503bhp and torque of 600Nm. Along with this, the company has also added an electric motor, which gives extra power of 174bhp. By combining both, this car produces power of about 630bhp and torque of 825Nm. It has 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive system. This sports car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 3.6 seconds. Its top speed is around 250 km per hour. The most important thing is that Audi RS 5 can run only for about 84 kilometers in electric mode. This means that there will be no need of petrol for short journeys in the city.

Audi RS 5 is very luxurious inside also

The interior of the car has been made quite premium and sporty. It has been provided with sports seats, which provide the facility of both heating and ventilation. The flat designed RS Sport steering wheel makes it more special. The company has used leather, microfiber and carbon finish in the cabin, due to which the interior of the car looks very luxurious.

Features and design make it special

The design of the new Audi RS 5 has been kept quite aggressive. It has been provided with a large honeycomb grille, large air dam and sporty exhaust pipe. Matrix LED headlights and OLED taillights are also available in the car. Talking about the features, it has 11.9 inch digital instrument cluster, 14.5 inch touchscreen and 10.9 inch passenger display. The driver also gets information about speed, G-force and battery in real time.

Will it be launched in India?

At present, Audi’s focus is more on the SUV segment in India. The company sells sedans like A4 and A6 here. However, Audi may increase its performance car lineup in the coming time. In such a situation, it is expected that Audi RS 5 can also be launched in India.
