The first round of talks ended on Sunday (June 21) at the Lake Lucerne Summit organized for peace talks between Iran and America. During the talks, both sides agreed to form a high level committee. After the end of the meeting, Qatar and Pakistan issued a joint statement claiming the formation of four major committees. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi approved the joint statement.

1. high level committee– This committee will have a political nature. Will keep an eye on the talks. The chief negotiator will report to this committee.
2. Lead Working Groups– These groups will work on Iran’s nuclear program and sanctions. (There will be separate groups for these important issues).
3. Monitoring and Dispute Resolution Group– It will decide whether the issues of the MOU are being implemented or not.
4. de-conflict cell – To Lebanon.
What did Araghchi say on US-Iran talks?
The first round of talks regarding a 14-point agreement between Iran and America has ended. After this, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said on Monday (June 22) that very good progress has been made in stopping the ongoing war in Lebanon. He has called this conversation the first real test between the two countries.
