Commercial LPG Price Hike News: Due to the ongoing war between Iran and the US, the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders have increased by Rs 993 yesterday i.e. on 30 April 2026. After which now its effect is being seen on the hotel industry also. Not only the hotel industry but it is also going to affect the common man’s pocket. Because Bengaluru Hotel Association has decided that they will now charge this price from the customers.

Actually, recently the Hotel Association of Bengaluru has taken a decision after the increase in the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. Association President PC Rao told The Hindu, ‘It has become necessary to increase the prices of all restaurants and eateries. In the last two months we have faced a shortage of supplies. Still the supply of LPG cylinders is only about 60%, but now we have started working with options.

He further said, ‘We had to increase prices in April to meet expenses. Now the increase of Rs 993 is so big that it is necessary to pass it on to the customers. We have given every hotel owner the right to increase the price by a fixed amount.

This decision taken by Bengaluru Hotel Association is going to be heavy on the pocket of the common man. The general public is also being troubled by this, and now whenever people have to go out to eat, they will have to do so very thoughtfully. Let us tell you that after the increase in the price of commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 993, now its price in Bengaluru has become Rs 3,152. An increase of up to 70% has been seen in the last 60 days. Such huge price changes in such a short period of time are quite disturbing.
