On Tuesday (April 28, 2026), a Thar full of children fell into the Niranjana river in Bodhgaya, Bihar. While trying to save an auto coming from the front, the vehicle (Thar) went out of control and this incident happened. In this accident the auto driver died during treatment. He could not be identified till the time of writing the news.
According to the information, Vikram Singh, Secretary of Jain Amitabh Welfare Trust, was taking the children of his organization from Thar. During this time, a major accident took place on the Pachhatti bridge of Bodh Gaya. Eight children and Vikram Singh traveling in the Thar were injured. There was chaos on the spot after the accident.
With the help of local people, all the injured were taken out of the vehicle. After this he was taken to Bodhgaya Community Health Center for treatment. Seeing the serious situation here, five children and Secretary Vikram Singh were referred to Magadh Medical College and Hospital for better treatment after first aid.
Children were taken home every day by car.
It is said that the children of the institution are taken home by car every day after being taught by the institution itself. Even today (Tuesday) when the children were being transported, this incident happened on the way. The children trapped in the vehicle were taken out with the help of local people.

After the incident, police from Bodh Gaya police station reached the spot. At the same time, foreign donors of the organization who reached Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital stopped the media persons from making videos. Let us tell you that free education is given to children through the organization by foreign donors.
Kanchan Kumari, a student admitted in the hospital for treatment, told that she was sitting in the back of the Thar. I was having problem in sitting so asked to sit in front. After this she sat forward. After some time the Thar crashed. She was crushed by the vehicle after the accident. He was taken out by the local people.
