The month of July was very important in terms of box office collection. In this month, many big films of YRF Universe from ‘Alpha’ to ‘Dhamal 4’ and ‘The Odyssey’ were released. ‘Dhamal 4’ and ‘The Odissi’ are also getting a lot of love. However, still a decline of 50 percent was seen in the month of July as compared to 2025.
This was the situation of July 2026 compared to 2025.
According to Koimoi, it collected Rs 343.94 crore in July 2026. In the coming 4 days this collection will reach 350 crores or 360 crores. But in July 2025, the box office collection was Rs 720.38 crore. 7 Hindi films were released in July in 2025.
Ajay Devgan’s ‘Dhamal 4’ contributed 46 percent to the July 2026 collection. Whereas ‘The Odyssey’ contributed 34 percent. ‘Dhamal 4’ has earned Rs 151.30 crore so far and ‘The Odissi’ has earned Rs 123.50 crore so far.

These films created a blast in July
‘Sayara’ and ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’, released in July 2025, were very much liked. Both the films created a tsunami at the box office. These two films were the best performing movies in the month of July from 2022 till now. Sayyar earned Rs 337.69 crore. Whereas Mahavatar Narasimha had collected Rs 247.96 crore.

Status of films released in July 2026
Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh’s film ‘Alpha’ collected Rs 59.17 crore. This film was made by Shiv Rawail. The film was produced by YRF Universe. Stars like Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor were also seen in this film. There was a lot of buzz about the film. But the film could not perform well at the box office.
‘Dhamal 4’ is getting love
The film ‘Baby Do Die Do’ earned 6.39 crores. The film was in bad shape. Huma Qureshi and Sikandar Kher were seen in this film. ‘Dhamal 4’ collected Rs 151.30 crore. The film has been made by Inder Kumar. Stars like Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Ritesh Deshmukh, Ravi Kishan, Anjali Anand and Sanjeeda Sheikh were seen in this film. The storyline of the film is being liked a lot.

Hollywood film ‘The Odyssey’ did a business of Rs 123.50 crore. This film is being liked a lot in India. The film has been made by Christopher Nolan. The film stars Matt Damon and Tom Holland.
‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ earned Rs 49 lakh. The condition of this film is very bad at the box office. Whereas ‘The India Story’ earned 82 lakhs. The film was released on 24 July. It has been made by Chetan DK. The film has stars like Kajal Aggarwal, Shreyas Talpade, Trisha Sarada.
