Giving a big relief to the students of 12th Board Exam 2026, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date to apply for verification of answer sheets and re-evaluation of questions. Now students can apply till June 7.
Keeping in mind the interest of the students, the board has decided to extend the deadline for the application process by one day. This will provide more time to those students who due to some reason could not apply within the stipulated time.
In the interest of students, CBSE has decided to extend the last date for submission of applications for Verification and Re-evaluation of Question(s) for the Class XII Board Examinations, thereby providing students additional time and support to complete the process.

Apply by June 7
According to the information released by CBSE, earlier the last date for submission of applications was fixed till midnight of 6th June 2026. Now it has been increased to midnight of June 7, 2026.
The board has said that the purpose of this additional time is to provide assistance to the students in completing the application process and to save them from any kind of technical or other problem.

CBSE board appealed
CBSE has appealed to all eligible students to take note of the revised schedule and submit their applications within the prescribed new deadline. Students who wish to apply for verification of their marks obtained or revaluation of any question can complete the process through the official portal.
Complaint lodged in IFSO unit of Delhi Police
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has lodged a formal complaint with the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of Delhi Police regarding the cyber attacks on its Post-Result Services portal.
According to the board, several coordinated and sophisticated cyber attacks were carried out in recent times targeting its post-result services portal. The aim of these attacks was to impact the services of the portal and disrupt online processes.
