China’s J-10C fighter jet defeated Qatar Air Force’s Eurofighter jet 9-0. Chinese government news channel CCTV has made this claim. The Chinese media has not been told what kind of exercise it was. Let us tell you that earlier in January, Pakistani media had claimed that their Air Force had defeated Eurofighter planes of Qatar Air Force 9-0.
In the month of January, an Air Force exercise named ‘Jiljal-II’ was organized in Qatar. It is believed that China is trying to sell its fighter jets since last year and is spreading propaganda for it. CCTV’s claim is also a part of that.
China has already made claims regarding J-10C
Let us tell you that during the India-Pakistan war last year, China had claimed about J-10C that it had defeated Rafale, but till now no country in the world has trusted the Chinese fighter aircraft. On the other hand, within a year, countries like Vietnam and Malaysia have not only expressed confidence in the capability of the Indian BrahMos missile, but Vietnam has also signed a BrahMos deal.
Rafale and Eurofighter are similar
Rafale and Eurofighter are very similar jets and their capabilities are also similar to a great extent. China has been continuously spreading fake stories about these two aircraft so that it can sell its fighter aircraft, but till now no other country except Pakistan has purchased Chinese fighter aircraft. Qatar uses Tranche 3A and Tranche 4 variants of Eurofighter which are very advanced variants.
Fake reports from China
If the Eurofighters had used the old Captor mechanically scanned array radar, the J-10C could have expected a massive victory beyond visual range, but it is very difficult to expect victory over the Chinese fighter aircraft with its new radar. This radar is very advanced, hence there is every possibility that China is spreading fake reports and this is a part of its propaganda.
According to reports, Eurofighter Typhoon is far ahead of China’s J-10C in terms of technology and power in terms of air dominance, speed, weight of weapons and combat capability. That is why China and Pakistan together sometimes spread fake reports about Rafale and sometimes create false stories about Eurofighter.
