Rajasthan Royals, who came to bat after losing the toss at Arun Jaitley Stadium, scored 193 runs losing 8 wickets. This team got a big blow in the form of Yashasvi Jaiswal (12) on the score of 19, but after this Dhruv Jurel took over the team by making a partnership of 70 runs in 34 balls for the second wicket with Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

Suryavanshi was out after scoring 46 runs in 21 balls with 3 sixes and 5 fours, from where Dhruv along with captain Riyan Parag took the team to a strong score by scoring 72 runs in 41 balls for the third wicket.

Dhruv Jurel was out after scoring 53 runs in 40 balls with 2 sixes and 5 fours, while Ryan scored 51 runs in 26 balls with 5 sixes and 3 fours. Mitchell Starc took maximum 4 wickets from the opposition camp. Lungi Ngidi and Madhav Tiwari had 2 successes each.

In response, Delhi Capitals won the match in 19.2 overs. The opening pair of Abhishek Porel and KL Rahul gave a great start to the host team. Both the players made a partnership of 105 runs in 61 balls.

Abhishek was out after scoring 51 runs in 31 balls with 1 six and 7 fours, after which KL Rahul took over the innings. Rahul contributed 56 runs in 42 balls with 4 boundaries to the team’s account.

DC lost its second wicket at the score of 122, after which captain Akshar Patel took charge. The captain made small partnerships and helped the team win with 4 balls to spare. Akshar remained unbeaten on 34 runs in 18 balls with 2 sixes and as many fours, while Ashutosh played an unbeaten inning of 18 runs in 5 balls. From the visiting camp, Joffra Archer and Brijesh Sharma took 2-2 wickets, while Dasun Shanaka took 1 wicket.
