Gold-Silver Rate Today on June 4: Today a slight decline is being seen in the prices of gold in the country. After the huge fall yesterday i.e. June 3, a slight improvement was seen in the early futures trading (MCX) this morning, but the prices at the retail level still remain much below their high levels. Today the price of 24 carat pure gold remains between Rs 1,59,380 to Rs 1,56,360 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 22 carat gold used for jewelery today stands at the level of Rs 1,43,100-1,46,340 per 10 grams.
Why did the price of gold fall today?
Due to the recent military standoff between America and Iran, fears of further deepening of geopolitical tension have increased. If tension increases, crude oil prices will also rise. Due to this, there will be fear of increase in inflation. If inflation increases, the US Federal Reserve will take a tough stance on interest rates and keep them high. If interest rates are high, investors will invest in bank bonds or other government schemes because gold does not earn any interest or dividend. If demand for gold decreases, prices will also fall.
