Captain Shubman Gill said that whenever a player gets injured, the team combination has to be changed. Keeping the World Cup in mind, Gill said that the team will have to play 11 consecutive matches there, but here the players are not able to play a series of 2-3 matches.
Expressing concern, he said that if players keep getting injured, it will make the situation difficult for the team. Gill said that due to injury the entire combination has to be changed and we need to work as a team and improve our fitness.
It is also worth noting that Captain Gill himself got injured during the first ODI. He retired hurt and walked off the field after scoring 80 runs in Birmingham.

Indian players are continuously getting injured
