First Indian Hydrogen Train: 17th July is going to be a historic day not only for Jind but for the entire country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off India’s first hydrogen powered train from Jind. On this occasion, he will also address a huge public meeting organized in Jind.
This program is being considered a big step for the country towards environmental protection and promotion of green energy. The special thing will be that an effort has been made to make the rally environment friendly. In the event, special emphasis has been laid on the use of CNG and electric vehicles instead of petrol and diesel vehicles.
PM Modi will gift many projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate 75 railway stations developed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme on the same day. He will also gift various development projects worth thousands of crores of rupees. Unprecedented security arrangements have been made in the entire Jind district regarding the visit of Prime Minister Modi. 15 IPS officers, 52 DSPs, 100 inspectors and about 5,000 policemen will be deployed in the security arrangements.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini himself is monitoring the preparations for the program. The Chief Minister has visited Jind twice in the last one week to take stock of the preparations. The Chairman of Railway Board has also inspected Jind Railway Station and Hydrogen Plant and reviewed the arrangements.
Hydrogen train was successfully tested several times
Hydrogen train has been successfully tested several times on the proposed 89 km long railway section between Jind and Sonipat. According to the proposed schedule of Railways, the train will leave from Jind Junction for Sonipat every day at 7:40 am. This train will run from Jind Junction and stop at Jind City, Pandu Pindara, Lalit Kheda, Bhambhewa, Butana, Gohana, Rabhada, Lath, Mohana and Banwasni stations. The probable fare from Jind to Sonipat is said to be Rs 25, although the official fare list has not been released by the Railways yet.
District administration fully prepared
The district administration is fully prepared for this historic event. Roads are being repaired and a layer of new tar is being laid on the possible route of Prime Minister Modi. Dividers and walls are being painted, closed fountains are being restarted and 51 quintals of laddus are being prepared for the welcome.
This event to be held on 17th July is considered to give Jind a new identity at the national level. There is an atmosphere of excitement about this historical moment in the entire district.
