More than 100 prominent people from both the countries have written letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shahbaz Sharif regarding the normalization of relations between India and Pakistan. It has been demanded that the tension between the two countries should end and visa service should be restarted. Apart from this, a demand has also been made to reopen the airspace. This letter has been signed by 117 people including Farooq Abdullah and Manoj Jha.
An open letter has been written by the Center for Peace and Progress to PM Narendra Modi and Shahbaz Sharif. There is a demand for structured talks between India and Pakistan, restoration of full diplomatic relations and resumption of people-to-people contacts. Apart from this, an appeal has also been made to promote religious and cultural movement.

This letter from India includes 61 signatories including Farooq Abdullah, Mirwaiz Omar Farooq, Mehbooba Mufti, Manoj Jha and Humayun Kabir. The leaders have signed this letter in digital format.

In this campaign, 56 prominent personalities from Pakistan have signed the open letter. The signatories include former Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri, former diplomat Ashraf Jahangir Qazi, National Assembly member Isfanyar Bhandara and nuclear scientist Pervez Hoodbhoy.
What are the demands from India-PAK government?
-The ongoing tension between the two countries should be ended and dialogue should be resumed.
-Demand for re-appointment of High Commissioner in Delhi and Islamabad.
Visa service should become normal between India and Pakistan.
– The airspace of both the countries should be reopened.

-Jammu and Kashmir should be discussed again.
– The overall dialogue process of 2004 and 2007 should be taken forward.
