IPL 2026 Final RCB Vs GT: Royal Challengers Bangalore has won the IPL title for the second consecutive time. After 2025, RCB became champion in 2026 also. RCB, captained by Rajat Patidar, lifted the second trophy by defeating Gujarat Titans, captained by Shubman Gill. Famous singer Kailash Kher performed during the final match. Apart from them, celebs like Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mrinal Thakur also became a part of this last battle of IPL 2026.
Kailash Kher started with ‘Shiv Tandav’
On 31 May, the final match was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In its closing ceremony, Kailash Kher sang ‘Shiv Tandav Stotra’ and ‘Bam Lahari’. Kailash Kher forced thousands of fans to dance with his melodious voice. Kailash had turned the Narendra Modi Stadium, which was painted in the colors of cricket, into a musical one.

Varun-Pooja and Mrinal also enjoyed the final
Varun Dhawan, Mrinal Thakur and Pooja Hegde also enjoyed the match between RCB and GT. These days all three are busy in the promotion of their upcoming film ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hi Hai’. All three had reached the stadium after taking time out from their busy schedule. Apart from him, Bollywood actress and Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma also reached the stadium to support her husband and RCB.

IPL 2026 final was one-sided
Fans expected that there would be rain of runs in the final of IPL 2026 and the match would be exciting, but it did not happen. RCB made it one-sided with their strong play. Batting first, Gujarat Titans could score only 155 runs. Washington Sundar scored the most runs for Gujarat (50 not out in 37 balls).
RCB achieved the target of 156 runs in the 18th over itself. While chasing, Virat Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 75 runs in 42 balls in the final. In this he hit 9 fours and 3 sixes. For this, Virat was honored with the ‘Player of the Match’ award.
