- Let us tell you that the film opened with a collection of Rs 15.50 crore on the first day and performed well on Saturday with a collection of Rs 24.15 crore.
- Sunday proved to be the biggest day of the film so far, when it earned Rs 28.35 crore.
- With this, the 5-day Indian gross collection of ‘Karuppu’ has now reached Rs 110.04 crore, while the net collection has reached Rs 95.05 crore.

Talking about the overseas collection of the film, it earned Rs 4.00 crore in foreign countries on the fifth day of its release, taking its total overseas collection to Rs 51.00 crore so far. With this, its worldwide total collection of 5 days has become Rs 161.04 crore.

‘Karuppu’ has performed much better in Tamil than the Telugu dubbed version. By the fifth day of release, the film earned Rs 9.62 crore from Tamil shows and Rs 1.80 crore from Telugu shows. The film has already crossed the lifetime collections of many of Surya’s recently released films. ‘Etharkam Thunindhavan’, released in 2022, had collected a nett of Rs 49.10 crore during its entire theatrical run in India. Whereas ‘Kanguwa’ had earned Rs 70.37 crore and ‘Retro’ had earned Rs 60.58 crore in lifetime net collection in India. ‘Karuppu’ has easily crossed the total collections of these three in its first week itself, making it one of the actor’s most successful films in recent years.
