Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee has written a letter to the Election Commission on Wednesday (29 July 2026). He has said in his letter that his group had given its opinion on behalf of the Commission within the deadline of July 6. The opposition group was first given time till 10th and then 25th July.
Mamta said, ‘Despite extending the time twice, no response was received. Therefore, it can be assumed that all the things and statements mentioned in our letter dated July 6, 2026 have been accepted. They don’t have any answer to this.

What is the whole matter?
In fact, the entire matter reached the Election Commission on July 2. When the group led by Ritabrata Banerjee approached the Election Commission.
