Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar reached Hariharnath Temple in Sonpur on Tuesday (April 07, 2026). Here he offered prayers. Along with performing puja, he took blessings of Lord Bholenath. During this, Nishant also answered the questions of the media. Also appealed to the public to continue to have faith in the party.

‘This time after a long time I came to seek blessings’

While talking to the media, Nishant Kumar said that I have come to seek blessings of God. He mentioned about 20 years ago and said that I used to come often. Told that this time I have come to seek blessings after a long time.

Journalists asked what to ask from Baba? To this Nishant laughed and replied, “It’s all God’s grace.” It was asked that whoever comes here for the post of minister, what is your wish? Nishant again repeated, “Okay…okay…it’s all God’s grace.” By giving such an answer, he was clearly avoiding saying anything openly.

Nishant praised his father’s work

Let us tell you that Nitish Kumar is going to Rajya Sabha. He is going to take oath on 10th April. In such a situation, Nishant Kumar said on his father’s decision to go to Rajya Sabha, “I accept his decision.” Further, Nishant praised the work of his father Nitish Kumar and said, “The people of Bihar will not be able to forget the work he (Nitish Kumar) has done for the people of Bihar for the last 20 years… I want to appeal to the public that the same faith in me and the party should remain in the future as they had faith in our father.”

‘It is not possible to find another Nitish’

On the other hand, JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar also gave a big statement on Tuesday. He had reached Nalanda. Here he said, “Nitish Kumar ji has said in three words, I am here… It is not possible to find another Nitish Kumar. Our party has been handed over to Nishant Kumar.”
