Vaibhav Suryavanshi will remember the date of 7th April 2026 forever. In this rain-affected match, the powerplay was only 3.2 overs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal created such havoc that they added 59 runs within the powerplay.
Hit 2 sixes on Bumrah
Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit a six on Jasprit Bumrah’s first ball in IPL. Suryavanshi did not stop here, because in the same over he also hit a six on the fourth ball. In this match of 11-11 overs, Suryavanshi played a brilliant inning of 39 runs in 14 balls. During this, one four and 5 sixes came from his bat. With this, Vaibhav has now jointly reached the first place with Sameer Rizvi in terms of hitting most sixes in IPL 2026.
