Pakistan has been frightened after the warning of Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. Now Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has threatened India and said that if India makes any audacity against Pakistan, it will be pushed into the pages of history. He even threatened to change the geography of India.
Khawaja Asif gave this statement in an interview given to a private news channel of Pakistan. During the conversation, he mentioned the tension between India and Pakistan in May last year. Asif claimed that at that time Pakistan had given a strong reply to India and India felt the loss of its reputation.

Statement of Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi
This entire controversy started after the statement of Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. General Dwivedi had said that Pakistan will have to decide whether it wants to be a part of geography or history. Responding to this statement, Khawaja Asif said that the Indian Army Chief is trying to regain his lost respect. During the interview, Khwaja Asif also commented on the statement of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) government chief Dattatreya Hosabale. Hosabale had talked about keeping the possibility of talks between India and Pakistan open. On this Asif claimed that the thinking of the army and civil society in India is different. He also said that voices are being raised against the government in India.
Questions on India’s foreign policy
Pakistani Defense Minister also raised questions on India’s foreign policy. He said that India’s relations with neighboring countries like Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka are no longer the same as before. Asif alleged that India is facing embarrassment on the foreign policy front. Apart from this, he also commented on the relations between India and Israel. Asif said that Israel does not want to see any other country more powerful than India in this region.
Khwaja Asif’s claim on Indus Water Treaty
Speaking on the Indus Water Treaty, Khawaja Asif claimed that this agreement has been in force for the last 66 years and it cannot be suspended unilaterally. He said that recently the Permanent Court of Arbitration has given its verdict in favor of Pakistan in this matter. According to Asif, there is a strong system in this treaty to resolve disputes.
