Along with this, an American official has also said that US President Trump will also hold separate bilateral meetings with the leaders of Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt during the G7 Summit on Tuesday (June 16, 2026). However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not expected to attend.
According to the American official, President Trump will also hold a summit meeting with the leaders of the Middle East on the sidelines of the G7 summit. According to AP report, President Trump will also discuss efforts to remove mines from the Strait of Hormuz with allied countries in the G7 meeting.
What issues will Trump discuss with G-7 partners??
Senior US officials said that during this visit, President Trump will have serious and detailed discussions with the leaders of G-7 countries on major issues of common importance. These include economic growth and development, strength of supply chains, illegal immigration and AI. Along with this, President Trump will also work with G-7 partners to strengthen the supply chain of critical minerals, promote economic security and strengthen efforts against drug trafficking.
