- NTA has released new admit cards, carry the updated ones.
If you are going to give NEET UG 2026 exam and your exam center was at Harivansh Rai Cultural Center in Prayagraj, then this news is very important for you. The National Testing Agency has decided to change the examination center before the exam and has also issued new admit cards for the affected students.
Based on the information issued by NTA, the examination center has been changed due to administrative reasons. It has been informed that construction work is going on at the old center and there is no availability of electricity, due to which it has been decided to conduct the examination in another building on the recommendation of the concerned committee in the district administration.
Therefore, NTA has issued a notification to the candidates whose examination center was Harivansh Rai Bachchan Cultural Centre, Allahabad University. Now they will have to appear for the examination at the new examination centre.
Which is the new exam centre?
According to the instructions of NTA, now the examination will be conducted in the Department of Medieval and Modern History, Senate House Campus, Allahabad University.
New admit cards were also issued
NTA has issued a new admit card for the affected candidates. Students can download the updated admit card from the official website using their login ID. However, students who have the admit card of the old center can also be allowed to appear in the examination at the new center after verification.

Therefore, candidates should check their admit card again before the examination. And to confirm the center information, reach on time on the day of examination so that one does not have to face any kind of problem. If there is any problem in downloading the admit card, then students can also contact NTA helpline or through email.
Candidates have been advised to carry updated admit card and identity card with them on the day of examination. Due to change of centre, it would be better to plan the journey and time in advance. So that you do not have to face any kind of problem at the last moment. Take special care of the timing of reporting at the examination center and follow the official instructions. Also, candidates should not trust any information or posts circulating on social media. And consider only the official update as correct. Keep checking the official website from time to time for every new information related to the examination.
