RR Vs DC IPL 2026: ‘If Rajasthan Royals play to their full potential…’, coach Vikram Rathod’s statement goes viral

Rajasthan Royals batting coach Vikram Rathore said that if his team plays to its full potential, it can defeat any team and hence it is still a strong contender to reach the IPL playoffs.

Rajasthan Royals currently have 12 points and are in sixth place. He will play his remaining two matches against Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians.

Rathore told reporters after the defeat to Delhi Capitals, “We are making a strategy to win each match. Every match is important for us and we are trying to win.

He said, “Now we have to win both the matches.” We believe that if we play to our full potential we can defeat any team. This is our thinking. We have to come out on the field and give our best performance.

Rathod told about all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja that due to a slight knee injury, it was decided to give him rest as a precaution.

He said, “He had a slight injury to his knee. He felt that it would be good for him if we give him rest for one more match. That is why he was given rest today.

Supporting the team’s young batsmen, Rathod said that the players should focus on their individual ability instead of trying to copy others.

He said, “Different players bat in different ways. Anyone can be successful. You have to recognize and understand your strengths. If you believe in your strengths and play accordingly then you can score runs.

Giving the example of Virat Kohli, Rathod said that he is not completely dependent on power hitting, yet has been successful in the shortest format of the game.

“I wouldn’t call him a complete power-hitting player,” he said. This shows that if a player has confidence in his abilities then he can be successful.
