Approval has been given for the establishment and operation of five new private universities in five districts of Bihar. Besides, administrative approval has been given for the construction of new court buildings in four districts. Emperor’s cabinet met on Wednesday (Emperor Cabinet) This has been approved in the meeting. 45 agendas have been passed in the meeting.

Announcement of establishment of universities in these districts

  • Approval for establishment and operation of Shanja University in Madhubani
  • Approval for establishment and operation of private university in Siwan
  • Approval for establishment and operation of SA University in Ashok Nagar, Nawada.
  • Approval for establishment and operation of Himalayan University in Patna
  • Approval for establishment and operation of Sita Yoga University at Jasoiya Mod in Aurangabad.

Approval of new court buildings in these four districts

  • Approval of ₹ 34.33 crore for the construction of 10 court buildings, amenity buildings and emergency buildings in Maharajganj (Siwan).
  • Approval of ₹ 53.02 crore for construction of 20 court buildings in Motihari (East Champaran)
  • Approval of ₹39.04 crore for construction of 15 court buildings (G+7) in Begusarai
  • Approval of ₹ 38.38 crore for the construction of 10 court buildings, amenity buildings and emergency buildings in Rajauli (Nawada).

CM Samrat Chaudhary said that these projects will strengthen the judicial infrastructure, will speed up judicial work and will provide better judicial facilities to the common citizens.

Rs 76.48 crore approved for Chhapra sewerage network

On the other hand, administrative approval of ₹ 76.48 crore has been given for Chhapra Sewerage Network Project under Amrit 2.0 scheme in Bihar. With the implementation of this project, the sewerage management system in Chhapra city will be further strengthened, cleanliness will be promoted and better urban facilities will be available to the citizens.
