Vaibhav Suryavanshi often makes headlines for his stormy batting, but in recent times there is a lot of discussion about his behavior on the field. In the final of Under-19 Asia Cup 2025, the Indian team was chasing a big target of 348 runs against Pakistan. In that match, Vaibhav Suryavanshi started batting in a very aggressive manner and scored 25 runs in just 9 balls. But on the 10th ball of his innings, he became the victim of Pakistani fast bowler Ali Raza. After taking the wicket, Ali Raza got excited and celebrated aggressively. Vaibhav did not like this. After being out, he expressed his displeasure, said a few words and then reacted by showing his shoe. In that match, the Indian team had to face defeat by a huge margin of 191 runs.

What happened against Sri Lanka?

The match played between India A and Sri Lanka A was very exciting and it was decided in the Super Over. India had to score 17 runs in the super over to win. Suryansh Shedge and Vaibhav Suryavanshi came on the field to bat. However, the Indian batsman could score only 5 runs in the first four balls and the team had to face defeat. After the match was over, players of both the teams were shaking hands with each other. Meanwhile, a Sri Lanka A player allegedly said something to Vaibhav. After this both the players came face to face and the matter reached the level of scuffle. The video of this incident that took place on the field also went viral on social media.

India A’s struggle in tri-series

India A’s performance under the captaincy of Tilak Verma has not been up to expectations so far. The team had made a great start by winning its first match against Sri Lanka A, but after that could not win two consecutive matches. In the rain-affected match against Afghanistan A, the Indian team had to face defeat under the Duckworth-Lewis rule.
