A video of Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule has surfaced on Friday (May 1, 2026), in which she is seen stuck along with hundreds of other passengers in a long traffic jam on the highway. Actually, the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MP was going to Pune to attend a program on the occasion of Maharashtra Day, but she got stuck in a long traffic jam on the Mumbai-Pune highway.
In the video that Supriya Sule has shared on social media, she was also seen talking to the people nearby stuck in the traffic jam. During this he said that two hours have passed in this long traffic jam.
For which program was Supriya Sule going to Pune?
NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MP Supriya Sule was going to attend a flag hoisting program organized in Pune on the occasion of Maharashtra Day on Friday (May 1, 2026). On the same day, the Missing Link Project on Yashwantrao Chavan Expressway was opened to the general public. It is also being said that this traffic jam on the highway was partly due to the fact that it was a weekend along with a state holiday and a large number of people were going out of the city on this day.

Supriya Sule talked to people stuck in traffic jam
It was also seen in the video that Supriya Sule was talking in Marathi language to the driver of a red hatchback car parked in the traffic jam next to her car, who joins her saying Jai Maharashtra.
What is Missing Link Project?
Actually, the Missing Link Project on Yashwantrao Chavan Expressway has been implemented by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC). The objective of this project is to make travel between Mumbai and Pune easier, make the road more efficient and reduce travel time.
It is noteworthy that on Friday (May 1, 2026), Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis hoisted the national flag on the 66th Foundation Day of Maharashtra. After this he went to Hutatma Chowk and paid tribute to the people martyred in the Samyukta Maharashtra movement.
