Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has shared three pictures of the dharna at PM House with Indian National Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.
While sharing these pictures, the former CM of UP wrote – Where did that custody ever come which imprisons the spirits? In the three pictures shared by the SP Chief, many leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Yogendra Yadav are visible. In these pictures, Rahul and Akhilesh are seen supporting each other at the protest site.
Akhilesh was taken into custody along with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Akhilesh was also released after 10 pm on 21st July. In this context, in a social media post, SP informed that Akhilesh Yadav has been released by Delhi Police. There is an appeal to all socialist friends to end their protest now. The struggle for the rights of students will continue.

When the protest did not end after Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Jitendra Singh met Rahul Gandhi and talked to him, the police ‘forcefully’ detained Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and several other leaders and took them away in a bus.
