The war between Russia and Ukraine that has been going on for the last four and a half years is showing no signs of ending. Now Kiev’s army has informed that it has attacked Russia’s Omsk refinery through Ukrainian drone. This refinery is in the interior areas of Siberia. This is said to be the largest refinery in Russia. According to Reuters News Agency, this is one of the biggest attacks since the beginning of the war. This attack has been confirmed by the local authorities of Russia themselves.
Ukrainian army attacked Russia throughout the night
According to local governors, apart from Omsk, the Ukrainian army attacked Russia’s Ustluga and Vysotsk ports overnight. Here oil is exported through the Baltic Sea. Apart from this, attacks were also carried out in Kaluga and Yaroslavl. Russia captured Crimea from Ukraine in 2014. An official has informed that a woman has also died in the attack on Kerch port. Many videos of the attack have also surfaced on social media.

Massive fire breaks out after attack at Omsk refinery
Here, the General Staff of Ukraine has said in its statement that this attack has caused a fire in the Omsk Refinery. This refinery is about 2700 km away from the area occupied by Ukraine. Present near Russia’s border with Kazakhstan.
Omsk Governor Vitaly Khotsenko has not mentioned a clear target. However, he said that Ukrainian drones reached the industrial center located north of Omsk. There is a refinery at this place. The attack is being assessed. Emergency services have been activated. According to news agency Reuters, Gazpromneft’s owning company Omsk Refinery processed 23 million metric tons of barrel oil daily last year. Ukraine is continuously intensifying attacks on Russian refineries. Due to this, information about fuel shortage in 11 time zones in the country has come to light.
