Heat wave is forecast in some parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh, especially the southern regions, during the next two to three days and the maximum temperature may go near or above 45 degrees Celsius.
Today’s weather will be very dry in UP. On Sunday (April 19), the maximum temperature is likely to reach 42 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to reach 26 degrees. This will make people miserable. There is no hope of rain at all in UP today. 33 percent humidity can be seen in the season. The wind speed in the state will be 5 km per hour.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information. IMD said that dry weather is prevailing in the entire state and westerly winds are blowing continuously. It has been said in the bulletin that there is a possibility of heat wave at different places in the southern parts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh during the day. On Saturday (April 18), the maximum temperature was recorded above 40 degrees Celsius in many parts of the state.
Temperature crossed 40 in many cities of UP
The temperature in Prayagraj reached 43.2 degrees Celsius, which is about 3.2 degrees above normal, while the state’s highest temperature of 44.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Banda. The temperature was recorded at 43 degrees Celsius in Varanasi, 43.1 degrees Celsius in Jhansi, 42.8 degrees Celsius in Sultanpur and 40.7 degrees Celsius in Gorakhpur.
The maximum temperature in the state capital Lucknow was recorded at 41 degrees Celsius, which crossed 40 degrees for the first time this season. The minimum temperature here was around 24 degrees Celsius. According to the forecast, the sky is likely to remain clear in Lucknow and surrounding areas, where the maximum temperature is expected to be around 42 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 24 degrees Celsius. According to IMD, dry weather is likely to persist for the next few days.
