A big update has come out for lakhs of candidates who are going to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026, which is included in the most prestigious examinations of the country. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) may soon release the admit card of Civil Services Prelims Examination. Candidates appearing in the examination will be able to download their e-admit card through the official website. The examination will be conducted by the Commission on 24 May 2026. In such a situation, candidates have been advised to keep checking the UPSC website regularly.
UPSC Prelims Admit Card may be released soon
The wait of the candidates waiting for the admit card of UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026 may now end soon. According to media reports and the previous pattern of the Commission, admit cards are issued about a week before the examination. This time also it is expected that the Commission may release the e-admit card around May 15. However, the official date has not been announced by the Commission yet. But candidates have been advised to keep an eye on the official website for any updates. After the release of the admit card, candidates will be able to download it with the help of their registration number or roll number and date of birth.

Admit card will be issued in online mode only. The Commission will not send any hall ticket through post. In such a situation, candidates will have to download their admit card in time and keep its printout safe.

How to download UPSC CSE Prelims Admit Card 2026
- First of all go to the official website upsc.gov.in.
- After this click on the link “UPSC CSE Prelims Admit Card 2026”.
- Now enter your registration ID or roll number and date of birth.
- After submitting the information, the admit card will appear on the screen.
- Candidates can download it and keep it safe for future.
Entry will not be allowed at the examination center without admit card. Therefore, it is very important to take its print before the examination.
