A big update has come out for lakhs of candidates appearing in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. Uttar Pradesh Service Selection Commission has released the admit card download. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website after the release of admit card.
What will be the shift timings?
UP TET 2026 exam will be conducted between July 2 and July 4. Which will be in different shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. First the upper primary level examination will be conducted. After this, primary level paper will be conducted. The examination will be conducted at designated centers in many different districts of the state.
What information needs to be checked?
After downloading your admit card, candidates should check the information written in it carefully. In which carefully read the name of the candidate, roll number, exam date, shift timing, address of the exam centre, reporting time and necessary guidelines. If any mistake is found in any information. So you can contact the concerned department.
What will be the exam pattern?
In this exam of UP TET 2026, all the questions will be MCQ. There will be no negative marking in this. In the primary level, for classes 1 to 5, there will be 30 questions of Child Development and Teaching Method, 30 questions of Language I, 30 questions of Language II, and 30 questions of Mathematics, also 30 questions of companion environmental studies will be included,
Apart from this, for upper primary level from class 6 to 8, there will be 30 questions on child development teaching method, 30 questions on first language, 30 questions on second language and 60 questions on subject based area. The total number of questions will be 150 for which 150 marks have been fixed.

How many marks are required to pass UPTET?
To qualify UPTET, candidates will be required to score minimum marks. 90 marks out of 150 (60%) will be applicable for general category and 82 marks out of 150 (55%) will be applicable for reserved category SC/ST/OBC/EWS.
How to download UPTET Admit Card 2026?
- First of all go to the official website www.upessc.up.gov.in.
- Click on the UPTET Admit Card 2026 link visible on the homepage.
- Now select the information related to your exam.
- Enter registration number or mobile number.
- After this the candidate should fill his name, father’s name and date of birth.
- Enter the security code that appears on the screen.
- Now click on search or submit.
- Your admit card will open on the screen.
- Download the PDF and keep its printout safe for the examination.
