‘We can eliminate them in one go’, Trump threatens Iran as crowd gathers at Khamenei’s funeral

US President Donald Trump has once again given a big statement regarding Iran. Trump claimed that if America wanted, it could eliminate the entire remaining top leadership of Iran in just ‘one strike’. However, he said that America will not do this because it wants the path of talks with Iran to remain open.

‘Can destroy everyone with one blow’

Speaking to news website Axios, Trump said that Iran’s top leaders are currently present together at the funeral of former supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He said, ‘They are all present there. We can destroy everyone in one attack, but we will not do so, because then there will be no one left to talk.

Surprised to see the crowd of people at Khamenei’s funeral

Trump said that he was surprised to see that a large number of people were seen crying at Khamenei’s funeral. He said, ‘I thought people hated Ali Khamenei, but I saw so many people crying there. Maybe these are fake tears.

Iranian Embassy gave a befitting reply to Trump

Iran’s embassy in Armenia reacted to Trump’s statement on social media platform X. The embassy wrote, ‘You cannot understand these things, because you have neither civilization, nor history, nor respect.’

‘We broke Iran’s back’
Earlier, even before America’s Independence Day (July 4) program, Trump had targeted Iran. He said, ‘We broke the back of Iran. Now they are desperate to compromise. We gave them a week’s time for the last rites because we are good people.

Iran warns America and Israel

Before Khamenei’s funeral, Iran’s military commander Ali Abdollahi gave a stern warning to America and Israel. He said that Iran’s enemies, especially America and Israel, should not be under any kind of misunderstanding. If there is any attack or aggressive action against Iran, its army will give an immediate and strong response.

The funeral program will continue till July 9

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s last journey began in Tehran on July 3. The funeral ceremonies will continue till July 9 and he will be laid to rest in his native city Mashhad. During this period, many religious programs are also to be organized in Qom and Iraq.

Foreign Minister also gave strict warning

Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had also said that if any attempt is made to threaten the Iranian people or its leadership, Tehran will respond immediately and with full force. His statement came at a time when Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz had reportedly described Ali Khamenei’s son Mojtaba Khamenei as ‘on target for death’.

Mojtaba Khamenei will not attend the funeral due to security reasons

According to the report, the chances of Mojtaba Khamenei publicly attending his father’s funeral are extremely low. Ayatollah Hakim Elahi, the representative of Iran’s supreme leader in India, had already said that the security agencies cannot fully guarantee their security. For this reason, he is not likely to attend public programs.
