A small Jhalmuri stall has come into limelight amid the election results in Jhargram, West Bengal. This shop was already in the news after Prime Minister Narendra Modi stopped by and ate Jhalmuri, but now after BJP’s victory, its story seems to be taking a new turn.

Stall owner Vikram Kumar Sao said that due to uncertainty about the election results, he had kept his shop closed in the morning. They kept waiting the whole day, observing the atmosphere. As soon as BJP’s victory was announced and the situation became clear, he reopened his shop in the evening.

For Vikram, it was not just a decision to open a shop, but also a kind of celebration. He says that the recognition his shop got after the Prime Minister’s visit has given a new height to his work. “Now people come from far and wide to taste Jhalmuri,” he says.

This incident shows how big political developments affect the lives of small businessmen and common people. This Jhalmuri stall of Jhargram has now become not just a local shop but a symbol of the election environment where politics and common life seem to be intertwined.
