Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh for leaving Don 3. A day after this, Chief Advisor Ashok Pandit has revealed that he tried to contact the dashing actor several times, but he was not available.
FWICE Why didn’t Ranveer Singh meet?
Speaking to ETimes, Pandit claimed that the federation had made three attempts to contact Ranveer. However, the actor did not attend any meeting. Ashok Pandit said, “So we tried our best. We sent them invites three times. There was no response, and then finally when they came to know that we were holding a press conference, they sent a mail and said that this matter does not come under our jurisdiction.”
He further said, “Okay, if that’s what you feel, then no problem. It doesn’t matter. So this is a basic thing, we will wait. We will sit with the producer body. We will sit with different associations and see what happens next.”
And he told that it would have been better if Ranveer had agreed to sit with the makers and the team and find a solution. He said that it is very important to end this issue because ultimately people have to work.

Why did Ranveer Singh leave Don 3?
Ranveer Singh was officially cast as the new Don in Don 3 in 2023. A promotional video created a huge buzz online, but the project was later delayed. According to many online reports, Ranveer Singh had left the film due to creative differences with the film makers. A report in the Free Press Journal also claimed that Ranveer wanted a more intense and aggressive version of the character, which included stronger language and more violence, while Farhan Akhtar reportedly wanted to stay closer to his original vision for the franchise.
