According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ is almost completed, so the makers are now preparing to release it soon. That means the makers are in a mood to release it not in the scheduled date of June but before that. According to reports, its release in May will prove beneficial for the producers.
The report said, “The filmmakers are seriously thinking of releasing the film on May 22 instead of June 12. They have realized that the film is almost ready, so they can advance the release by three weeks.”

The report further said, “Besides, there is less competition in the second fortnight of May and summer holidays will also be going on. This will be the perfect time for the film to attract young and family audiences to theatres.” According to the report, however, the makers have not yet taken the final decision. After taking the decision, they can officially announce the new release date of the film.
Clash at the box office in June
‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ was earlier scheduled to release in theaters on June 5, 2026. However, to avoid clash with Yash’s film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups’, the makers postponed it till June 12. This Varun Dhawan starrer film will also compete with Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Main Vyapar Aaunga’, as this film is scheduled to release in theaters on June 12, 2026. But now according to the report it can be pre-poned.
