Zimbabwe Cricket Board has announced its squad for the 3-match T20 series against India. Many experienced players are included in the 15 players selected under the captaincy of Sikandar Raza. The first match of the series will be played in Harare on Thursday. The morale of the host team is high, because India is coming after losing the last 2 T20 series. Team India has lost 6 consecutive matches under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer. All-rounder Wesley Madhevi has returned to the team. Wicketkeeper batsman Tafadzwa Siga has been included in the national T20 team for the first time.
In the first match of the T20 series, the most pressure will be on the Indian team, which has many young players. If we look at history, India is the favourite, but looking at the way the last two series have gone, Zimbabwe cannot be underestimated. There are many young players in the Indian squad. There have been 14 T20 matches between India and Zimbabwe, out of which India has won 11 times and Zimbabwe has won 3 times.

The first match of India vs Zimbabwe T20 series will be held on Thursday, 23 July. The second and third matches will be held on 25th and 26th July respectively. All three matches will be played at Harare Sports Club.
