Giving the example of Lahore during the 1965 war, Rajnath Singh instructed Pakistan that the road to Karachi also passes through Sir Creek. In 1965, Pakistan started the war against India from Sir Creek area itself, but later had to face defeat.

Rajnath Singh had said that even after 78 years of independence, a dispute is raised by Pakistan regarding the border in Sir Creek area. He said that the Indian forces, in their retaliatory action, completely exposed the Pakistani air defense system and gave a message to the world that the Indian forces can cause huge damage to Pakistan whenever, wherever and however they want.
