A video has surfaced on social media, in which a person is seen standing at a distance and saying good and bad to Gautam Gambhir. While giving the statistics of the Indian team, this person said that Gautam Gambhir should leave coaching.
In this video going viral, this fan said, “3-0 at home, 1-0 with Africa, leave coaching. Can’t win at home with South Africa, forget the 2027 World Cup.” The demand for removal of Gambhir from the post of coach has started gaining momentum.
Team India is continuously performing poorly
The Indian team is performing very poorly especially in Test cricket. Last year, when Gautam Gambhir was the head coach, New Zealand came to India and gave a 3-0 clean sweep to Team India in the Test series at home. Now South Africa has also defeated the Indian team 2-0 in the Test series at its home.
Indian batsmen were not able to chase the target of 124 runs in Kolkata Test. In the Guwahati Test, Team India had to face defeat by 408 runs. This is India’s biggest defeat by runs in the history of Test cricket. Due to this poor performance, the Indian team’s hopes of playing the final of WTC 2027 have suffered a setback.
