Supreme Court on Child Trafficking: The Supreme Court made important remarks while hearing the child trafficking case. The court said that if someone is a child or a son wants a son, then there is no way to get children. He said that an accused wanted a son for a long time, so he bought the child for 4 lakh rupees, knowing that the child was stolen. The court said that understand the pain of those parents, who know that their child is with an unknown gang. The court also expressed displeasure over the Uttar Pradesh government and the Allahabad High Court and said that there was no seriousness from their side.
According to the report of the Bar and Bench, there was a case in the child trafficking case, in which the couple who wanted the son were given the child. The court said, ‘It seems that the accused wanted a son for a long time, so he bought a son for 4 lakh rupees. If you want a son … then you cannot take a smuggler for him. He also knew that the child was stolen.
The court also questioned the decision of the High Court regarding the bail of the accused. The court said that while giving bail, the High Court should have imposed at least the conditions so that they would appear in the police station every week. Now the police do not have any record of these people. The court also said that if there is a child, then it is not right to buy this child and they also know that the child was stolen.
The Supreme Court was hearing the incidents of theft incidents in Varanasi and its surrounding hospitals. Last year, the accused in this case were granted bail by the Allahabad High Court, against which the families of the children approached the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court has directed the state government to look at its recommendations and quickly apply them by studying the submit report on behalf of the Indian Institute. The court has also directed the High Court across the country to know the status of pending cases of child trafficking cases. Instructions were also given to settle these cases in 6 months by trialing every day.
