Not to wife or sons, to whom did Ajit Pawar make the last call? Further discussion was to take place after landing

Ajit Pawar, known as the Deputy Chief Minister and a strong leader in the Maharashtra government, died in a plane crash. On Wednesday, January 28, 5 morning, 5 people including Ajit Pawar died in a plane crash in Baramati.

Ajit Pawar left for Baramati by plane from Mumbai on the morning of 28 January. After reaching Baramati, the plane crashed during landing. Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar’s last phone call was to BJP MLA and nephew Ranajagjitsingh Patil. Before boarding the plane, Ajit Pawar had talked to Ranajagjitsingh Patil. After this, the next conversation was to take place after landing in Baramati.

Ranajagjitsingh Patil said that today is one of the saddest days of my life. It is truly heart breaking to know that not only as an uncle but also as a personality who guided me at every turn of life, gave me courage and taught me to stand strong in difficult situations, he is no more.

Right from childhood, he taught me the true meaning of politics, social service and responsibility through work. I always learned from his company that one should believe in actions more than words and should keep the public interest in mind while taking decisions. Beyond the personal relationship, he has always been a role model and inspiration for me, said BJP MLA Rana Jagjitsingh Patil.

Phone conversation shortly before the accident

Patil said that my mind has really become numb. I had talked to him on phone some time before the accident. That voice, which was speaking lovingly as always, is still echoing in my ears. And it is very difficult to explain how I felt after hearing this bad news within half an hour. This terrible feeling of how life can end in an instant is very disturbing. Beyond personal relationships, he was a constant guide and strong support for me.

The memory of that last conversation is creating a lot of emotional upheaval in my mind, I still cannot believe it, it is still not possible to believe that Ajit Kaka has left us, BJP MLA Rana Jagjitsingh Patil said. This incident has caused a huge loss not only to our family but to the entire state. The feeling of being deprived of an active, experienced and public-friendly leadership is becoming deeper.

The state will continue to feel the pain of losing a leader who worked on the issues of farmers, laborers and common people for a long time. BJP MLA Ranajagjitsingh Patil also said that it will be difficult to fill the void left by his departure.
