Actress Shilpa Shirodkar shared an emotional post on social media on Saturday, remembering her father Nitin Shirodkar on his birth anniversary.
Shilpa posted a lovely childhood picture with her father on her official Instagram account. Along with the post, she wrote in the caption, “My dear father, I fall short of words while remembering you. I miss you so much that I cannot express. It has been 19 years since you left me. Every day I think that I wish I could change these two dates of my life, 31 January 2007 and 18 July 2008.” This is the date when his parents died.
She further wrote, “I know that you are watching me from above. You have been my strength and my guide, but to be honest, the more I convince myself that ‘everything is fine’, the more the pain increases from inside. This pain of losing you never subsides. I love you very much, Papa, I wish you were with me even today.”
