It has been specially designed keeping in mind the rural and weaker sections. That is, those who have difficulty in reaching a lawyer. Now he can also take professional guidance. The entire system works on an online platform, which saves both time and money.
How to get legal advice?
Under this service, people are connected to the lawyers included in the panel through phone or video call. Common Service Centers i.e. CSC centers present across the country play an important role in this. These centers present at village or panchayat level help in connecting people.
Apart from this, Tele-Law Mobile App is also available for mobile users. From where you can apply directly. The lawyer listens to your problem for about 20 minutes in the fixed time slot and gives you the right direction as per the law. With this, a solution can be found at the initial level without going to court.
In which cases can help be provided?
This facility is provided by the government in many cases. This service gives you guidance in matters like family disputes, divorce, domestic violence, maintenance, land-property disputes, wage related issues, FIR process or SC-ST atrocities. Earlier in some cases nominal fees were charged. But now this facility is completely free for all citizens. Now you will not have to visit the court for legal advice.
