RCB Won IPL 2026: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar says that he cannot thank Virat Kohli enough. Patidar said that he not only gave valuable suggestions on the technical aspects of his batting, but also stood as a strong support for all the junior members of the team.
Patidar, who scored more than 500 runs to help RCB win its second consecutive title, thanked the senior most member of his team for his support.
Talking about Kohli, Patidar said, “The way I look at my batting, I always try to work on things where I can improve, especially against fast bowlers. I got a lot of help from Kohli bhai. Whenever I see him, he is always there for the team and all the players. He personally approaches the young players, even though they do not hesitate to approach him. ”

On his second win as captain, Patidar said that when he entered the Narendra Modi Stadium, a lot of memories of last year’s win came alive, but he controlled his mind and focused on the present.
Patidar said, “It feels wonderful.” There were a lot of memories of last year, but we had to focus on the present. I don’t have words to express my feelings, but it feels great.
He said, “Our plan was very clear. Chasing the target was easy. We wanted to get their first three batsmen out. The performance of our bowlers has been excellent throughout the tournament. Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar Kumar), (Josh) Hazlewood, Salim Rasikh (Dar), Krunal (Pandya), Sheppy (Romario Shepherd) all have performed well.
Four years ago, Patidar had postponed his wedding to replace Lavneet Sisodia when he was injured and by 2025, he was given the captaincy of the team in a very wise decision.
If someone had told him about this story of his life in advance, perhaps Patidar would not have believed it. He said, “I never dreamed that I would win two (IPL titles) for RCB. All this was written in destiny. Last year, there was a lot of pressure. This year, we had confidence in ourselves. My preparation before the tournament was also very good. ”
