India tour of bangladesh: There is currently suspense on the India vs Bangladesh cricket series to be held in August. India has to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20 International matches against Bangladesh from August 17, but due to the current political situation between the two countries, doubt remains over the visit. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has made a big statement and has tried to clear the situation on this whole matter.

BCCI is talking to the government, BCB president claims

Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam told the media on Monday that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is waiting for his government to get approval for this visit. He also clarified that talks are going on between the two boards about this series and both the boards are waiting for the government’s decision.

Aminul Islam said, “We have a good conversation with BCCI. It is not necessary that this series is in August-September, if the government does not get approval now, we will organize this series at some other time in future.” Aminul said this after the 19th meeting of the board held at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on 30 June.

What is the proposed schedule?

If India visit Bangladesh to play this series, then India has to play matches on this schedule in Bangladesh,

August 20 – Second ODI (Mirpur)

August 23 – Third ODI (Chittagong)

T20 International (T20IS)

August 26 – First T20I (Chittagong)
