The Election Commission released new data under Bihar SIR and said that so far 99 percent of the voters have been verified. According to the report of booth level officers (blo) and political parties appointed by political parties,
- 6 lakh voters have been found who have died.
- Names of 5 lakh such voters have been reported, which have been permanently transferred to another place.
- 7 lakh voters have been found in more than one place.
Apart from this, according to the report of local BLO and BLA, there are 1 lakh voters that have not been traced. In such a situation, it can be said that the names of more than 61.1 lakh people will be cut in the draft electoral role prepared on August 1.
Forms of at least 7 lakh voters were not received
The Election Commission said, “However, under SIR, voters are being contacted from BLO and BLA from house to house, yet we have not received the forms of at least 7 lakh voters yet.”
7.21 crore form has been digitized
ECI said, “We have received the forms of 91.32 percent of the total voter number in Bihar, ie 7.21 crore voters and they have been digitized. The names of all those whose forms have been digitized will be included in the draft electoral roles published on August 1. In addition, the remaining forms are also being digitized with BLO/Bla reports. They can be verified on claiming claims and objections. “
