Sundar Pichai was born on 12 July 1972 in Chennai. His father was an engineer by profession. In the early days, his family lived in a flat of two rooms. He had no car nor TV. There was no separate room for Pichi’s studies. Despite this, at the age of just 17, he enrolled in IIT Kharagpur due to his hard work and ability. In 1993, he received scholarship from Stanford University. His parents spent more than $ 1000 to buy airplane tickets to go to America, which was more than his father’s annual income.
