Despite this, jewelery vendors are expected to increase demand as people traditionally shop for gold or silver jewelery during Navratri, Dussehra, Dhanteras, Diwali and weddings. Gold is stable in the international market and is now close to $ 3600 an ounce. This is because the market is now waiting to cut interest rates in the Fed Reserve meeting to be held on September 17, 2025.

How much is the price of gold and silver today?

On Monday, September 15, the price of 24 carat gold in India has come down by Rs 110 per 10 grams to Rs 1,11,060 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 22 carat gold declined by Rs 100 to Rs 1,01,800 today. Similarly, the price of 18 carat gold also declined by Rs 80 per 10 grams to Rs 83,290 per 10 grams.

With this, the price of 100 grams of 24 carat gold has now been Rs 11,10,600, and the price of 100 grams of 22 carat gold has now been Rs 10,18,00. Silver prices in India have remained the same for the last two days, so the price of 1 kg silver is Rs 133,000. While the retail price of 100 grams of silver in India is currently Rs 13,300.

Gold-silver price on MCX

This morning, gold futures of October 3 on MCX were trading at Rs 1,09,100 with a decline of 0.13 percent. At the same time, silver futures on MCX on December 5 are trading at Rs 1,28,848 per kg with an increase of 0.01 percent.

  • In Chennai, 10 grams of gold of 24 carats is being sold for Rs 1,11,060 today. At the same time, the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 1,01,800 per 10 grams.
  • In Bengaluru and Hyderabad today, 22 carat gold is priced at Rs 1,01,800 per 10 grams, while 24 carat gold is Rs 1,11,060 per 10 grams.
  • The price of 22 carat gold in Mumbai is Rs 1,01,800 per 10 grams. At the same time, gold of 24 carat of equal gram is being sold for Rs 1,11,060.
