Tata capital ipo: The IPO of Tata Group’s NBFC company Tata Capital (Tata Capital IPO) is opening to anchor investors on 3 October today. Whereas for retail investors, it will open on Monday, October 6 and the issue will be closed on Wednesday, October 8. By the way, the company is carrying a target of raising Rs 15,512 crore through this IPO. Out of these, an attempt will be made to raise Rs 4641.6 crore with anchor investors.
Anchor investors may include these
It is being told that the company’s anchor investors include ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, AXIS AMC and Government Insurance Company. However, no concrete information has been given by the company about this. Anchor investors are also called qualified Institutional Boys (QIB). These usually include an institution, mutual funds or pension funds. They are allotted shares a day before the IPO opens so that retail investors can be assured to invest in IPOs. Anchor investors buy shares for large amounts of IPOs.
Shares will be sold worth crores
In this IPO of Tata Capital, the company will issue 21 crore new shares worth Rs 6,846 crore and will issue 26.58 crore shares worth Rs 8,665.87 crore through Offer-SAL (OFS). It is being told that Tata Sons is preparing to sell 23 crore shares and International Finance Corporation in OSS.
The price band for IPO has been fixed at Rs 310-326 per share. Retail investors will have to bid in a lot of 46 shares. For this, investment of at least Rs 14,996 is required. Investors in IPO can apply for investors for a maximum of 13 lots. Share can be allotted on 9 October and a possible listing of shares on both BSE and NSE can be on Monday, October 13.
