Vaibhav Suryavanshi: Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 15 year old young cricketer in the Indian cricket team, has become everyone’s favorite these days. He gave a befitting reply to the critics with his stormy innings in the final of the Tri-Nation Series played between India A and Sri Lanka A on June 21 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla. His brilliant achievement attracted everyone’s attention. This includes everyone from his fans in the cricket world to former cricket players and business stalwarts. One of them is Anand Mahindra, who praised him a lot.
What did Anand Mahindra say?
Famous industrialist Anand Mahindra on social media platform X praised young cricket sensation Vaibhav’s ability to handle pressure more than his batting and his mental strength. Giving his reaction on X, he said, more than this historic innings of Vaibhav, his temperament (mental balance and patience) won his heart. Giving the example of Vaibhav, he explained how pressure in life and career should be handled with patience and morale.
Fifty off 11 balls. Incredible.
But it isn’t only that statistic which I applaud
Because after the earlier match’s on-field confrontation, he could have carried that baggage into this game.
Instead, he carried his bat & let it do the talking.
Talent is a gift.

took revenge with the bat
Just before this match, on June 15, Vaibhav had a heated argument with the Sri Lanka A players. Actually, in the Super Over played on June 15, India-A team lost to Sri Lanka-A team. Amidst the celebration and banter of Sri Lanka’s victory, Vaibhav had a heated argument with Sri Lankan fielder Vishen Halambage. The matter progressed to the point of pushing and shoving. After this dispute on the field, the referee took action against both the players and also decided to deduct the match fee by 50%.
India A team also lost to Sri Lanka A team in the Super Over. However, even in the face of taunting by the Sri Lankan players on the field, Vaibhav did not lose his temper and gave his full strength in the match played yesterday on 21st June and took revenge from Lanka with his bat. Yesterday in the grand finale, India A defeated Sri Lanka A by 66 runs and captured the trophy.
