Amidst the theft of Ayodhya Ram temple offerings, another string of controversy has now been added to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust. Questions have been raised about the authority of trust member Mahant Dinendra Das. After the meeting of Sarpanch and Mahants of Shri Panch Ramanandi Nirmohi Akhara, Mahant Dinendra Das of Ayodhya branch of Nirmohi Akhara has been removed from the post.
According to the information, the Sarpanch and Mahants of the Akhara have taken this decision. On July 5, a meeting of Panchas was held in Delhi and Mahant Dinendra Das was accused of indiscipline, not following the rules of the Akhara and hiding necessary documents. Allegations of the Sarpanches of the Akhara: In the Ram Janmabhoomi case, the settlement agreement was given in the Supreme Court without taking the consent of other Mahants of the Akhara, due to which the reputation of the Akhara was damaged.
Mahant Dinendra Das removed from post
By bringing a proposal in the meeting of the Akhara, the Sarpanch and Mahants of the Akhara agreed to remove Mahant Dinendra Das from the post. Not only this, the Sarpanches of the Akhara described Mahant Dinendra Das as mentally unwell and said that he was continuously insulting the traditions and Mahants of the Akhara.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sarpanch Raja Ramchandracharya Das Maharaj of Panch Ramanandi Nirmohi Akhara and 8 out of 13 invited members were present in the meeting. Four had expressed online presence. Mahant Dinendra Das did not go to the meeting.
Nirmohi Akhara has been given membership in the trust by considering it as a party. Along with losing the post of Mahanti, the post of Trust member can be taken away from Dinendra Das. It is being told that Nirmohi Akhara has filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding formation of a fresh trust. The removal of Mahant Dinendra Das has also been mentioned in the petition itself.
Dinendra Das called these news fake
Mahant Dinendra Das of Nirmohi Akhara said that the news of his removal from the post by holding a fake meeting in Delhi was completely baseless by issuing a press note. His allegation is that a fake register was prepared with the signatures of only 8 people, whereas Nirmohi Akhara is a Panchayati Akhara of 19 Panchs and 13 Panchs are still with him and the action register is also present with him in Ayodhya.
He also accused Karthik Chopra of luring the 102-year-old Akhara chief into making a fake statement and terming the Delhi meeting as an alleged one, he also said that he was not even given any information about this meeting.
First the theft in Ram temple and now the demand for formation of the trust in a new way, along with the information about Dinendra Das, the discussion is hot that if he will not be the Mahant then he will not get a place in the trust. Now everyone’s eyes are on what Dinendra Das will do next, who called all the things baseless.
