‘Brahmins are afraid…’, why did Ravichandran Ashwin say this on Thalapathy Vijay’s victory?

Superstar Vijay Thalapathy’s party TVK emerged as the largest party in Tamil Nadu in its electoral debut. TVK (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam) got the highest number of seats (108) in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin congratulated him on this historic victory. Meanwhile, a fan tried to troll Ashwin on social media. But Ashwin gave such a reply to the troller that he stopped talking to him.

Ravichandran Ashwin sent a message on social media congratulating Thalapathy Vijay on his great success, “Congratulations to Thalapathy and his party for these wonderful results. Best wishes to you. I would like to move beyond being a big fan of yours and become a follower of a leader by whom I would like to follow the path shown.”

Ashwin gave a befitting reply to the troller

Some people also trolled Ashwin regarding this post. Meanwhile, a person wrote that Ashwin is a Brahmin who is afraid of Dravidian rule. Ashwin is known for his outspoken style and in the same manner he also gave a befitting reply to the troller.

Ashwin wrote in reply, “I have said this before, I will say it again. It was not in my control whose child I became. Thankfully, I got such great parents. Leadership means being empathetic towards the struggles of others and going beyond the difficulties to make development possible. This is what my parents and gurus have taught me. I want to live till the day we stop talking about lineage and caste.”

Thalapathy Vijay created history

Thalapathy Vijay’s party, TVK, entered the electoral fray for the first time. He had fielded candidates from all 234 seats. The results of the elections were such that no one had expected. TVK got 108 seats, which is 10 seats away from the majority mark.
