India’s cheapest medical college is in Delhi

Delhi-based AIIMS is the most prestigious medical institute in the country and the fees here are so low that even a middle class or lower middle class student can study here. The fees for the entire 5 years in AIIMS Delhi is only ₹ 19,896, i.e. approximately ₹ 4000 annually, but for admission in this, one has to score 710 marks in the paper of 720 marks.

Government medical college fees are very low in Telangana also

In many government institutions of Telangana like Gandhi Medical College, Kakatiya Medical College, Osmania Medical College and Siddipet Medical College, the annual fee is only around ₹ 10,000, to get admission here, students have to score at least 650 marks.

Some other states, where fees are less

Apart from Telangana and Delhi, in states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam and Andhra Pradesh, medical education is done in government colleges at a very low cost. Here also the annual fees range between ₹ 10,000 to ₹ 20,000. But here also children will have to score around 600 for admission.

The number of colleges in India has increased, but to study MBBS at low fees, students will have to work very hard.
